J-Cable:

The J-Cable enables the warfighter to operate his shoulder-mounted MBITR radio while wearing body armor. At 48 in. (122 cm), J-Cable’s length gives the warfighter several options in configuring his radio and antenna. The right angle connection with the radio keeps the J-Cable fit securely to the body, minimizing snags and preventing breakage. The jacks are professionally potted and insulated to ensure a tight connection in harsh environments. Benefits include 1) Designed specifically for the MBITR, 2) Hardened and ruggedized, and 3) Works with either the long or short antenna.
