How To Use This Contract

The GSA schedules are competitively awarded schedule contracts each with fixed labor rates and are available to all federal agencies and their approved contractors. The fixed hourly rates have already been determined “fair and reasonable” by the Government, per “FAR 8.4”. Task Orders referencing the GSA schedule number flow directly from the customer agency to the awardee. There is no middle man, no need to advertise in the FedBizOpps, and no need to coordinate with anyone outside your own agency. Each agency has contract procedures to follow when using this streamlined and simplified procurement process. Refer to FAR 8.4 for more details. The following is an overview of the steps required when using the GSA schedules.

Steps

  1. Radiance may meet with the customer to determine if support requirements exist.
  2. The customer develops the project requirements (Statement of Work).
  3. Radiance may provide the customer with its suggested labor mix for the project and the prospective prices (Rough Order of Magnitude).
  4. The customer provides the project requirements and funding documents to its internal Contracts Office.
  5. The customer’s Contracts Office develops and issues an RFP/RFQ to prospective Offeror(s).
  6. May use GSA’s “e-Buy” system.Radiance develops its proposal/quote.
  7. The Contracting Officer evaluates offer(s) along with the customer and the Contracting Officer makes award.
  8. The Contracting Officer issues a task order.
  9. Radiance begins work.
